Couldn’t upload multiple images, but used walnut with maple splines. First time using splines, very happy with how it turned out

    Looks great! Good job on all the corners. I like the contrast with the color of the wood and the paper too

      Thanks! I love working with walnut. This was the first project I finished in my new house after not having a shop for a year and a half, and I’m very happy with it. Had a chance to use almost all of my main tools, including a shaper I got at an auction for $40 and spent a while restoring. That thing is scary AF, but super effective!
