I’ve got huge mixed feelings about the congestion pricing. I’m a lower Manhattan resident and actually (regrettably) own a car in the city. I think residents who actually live here should probably get a free pass, as should certain commercial vehicles. I’m definitely not down with penalizing the needy, so it would be nice to see that new revenue go toward improving public transit. But it probably won’t.
