If I want to purchase the game on Steam. Do you recommend Shattered Pixel Dungeon or Pixel Dungeon? What are the main differences?

    Dang, you beat me to the first post on my own sub!

    Shattered is so much better than the default Pixel Dungeon that it’s almost not worth mentioning the original. Most players would consider Shattered the “default” experience and it has the most active development.

    I can’t answer that, but, you can get shattered pixel dungeon for free on the fdroid store.

    That’s for Android.

    I see Shattered Pixel Dungeon as the continued evolution of Pixel Dungeon because the original has not been updated / developed / maintained since ~2015, and Shattered Pixel Dungeon basically adds a lot more content on top of the original.
