I’ve had a sdr sitting in my drawer for a few months now (was going to use it to sniff for weather stations near me to feed to my home assistant)

Didn’t end up going in that direction, but I would like to play around with it!

Where are some good places to start, what are your use cases?

    depends, whats your background? you can do a lot of cool things with gnu-radio, if you want to get into building antenna you can receive images from satellites, the list is endless!

    I usually just use mine like a scanner, although I have a 2nd one hooked up to my server to do ADS-B (locations of planes in my area) feeding to a few sites like adsb.fi and flightradar24 as well.
