As previously announced at @wetshavinglemmy@wetshavinglemmy@wetshaving.social, the sever was having problems resetting their password, logging in, creating an account, or creating a community.
It appears that all of these issues have been fixed, including the bug where you sign up and the button just spins and it ends up looking like there’s something wrong with your internet connection.
Hopefully these bugs will stay fixed, but if they don’t please let me know.

One thing though: if you try to create another account with a mail that you used for an existing account, you get the spinning button, and no error message. It might be good if lemmy told you that you need to choose another email.
I haven’t checked what happens if you try to use an ID that already exists, but I would guess that it’s the same.
And minor annoyance, not sure whether this is fixable: when I’m starting a message, and then go to another tab, or to another app on the phone (e.g. to check something), and then come back, I lose everything I typed. This is on an Android phone with Firefox.
