Hey this place is still pretty new!

As far as I can see, this is the only spot on the forum/link aggregator fediverse space for this game. Think the way to grow things like this is with higher effort posts, so here’s my attempt at that.

Here are some links I think are extremely useful to Destiny players as well as a description of what they do/are!

DIM: Destiny Item Manager

https://app.destinyitemmanager.com

An essential resource for all Destiny players. DIM allows easy management of your items from a browser window but also packs many other powerful features. Loadout management, appraisal of weapon rolls, and other quality-of-life features are highlights.

D2Armorpicker

https://d2armorpicker.com/

Incredible build crafting resource. D2Armorpicker will allow you to specify the stat profile you are looking for with an exotic and search all the armor you own to see stat possibilities. D2Armorpicker will account for stat benefits/detractions from fragments if specified. Start here when making a new build!

light.gg

https://www.light.gg/

A general-purpose Destiny 2 database. light.gg indexes all obtainable items in the game. Players often use this to check what’s new in a season. light.gg will also list items currently available from vendors like Xur and the Gunsmith. It offers an appraisal of these weapons as well, but be warned: the appraisal is based on the raw popularity of perks and often misses nuances.

d2foundry

https://d2foundry.gg/

A D2Gunsmith replacement. Allows you to see what rolls on weapons, how perks affect their stats, and offers community research into how perks work. Filtering weapons based on their available perks, frame, and element allows you to find a weapon to complete your build.

Braytech

https://bray.tech/

A general-purpose Destiny companion app with many feautures. A number of said features are geared around helping collectors locate things they are missing, with maps helping you locate various collectibles and triumphs.

Great list! The only one I would add is Today in Destiny. It’s a great resource for checking the daily and weekly active missions, raids, dungeons, lost sector, Xur location, etc.

It also has an ‘EV Calendar’ that lists all the stuff that will be silver-only for the season and another list for bright dust items. Sadly, it used to be able to tell us the exact week when items went up for BD and silver, but Bungie removed the timed window options from the API that TiD uses.
