I just wanted to thank you for your work on this app. iOS needs an app to access Lemmy. This is a great time for the app due to Apollo shutting down. I believe that your work on this app will greatly increase the number of people who join the fediverse.
And I especially appreciate that you chose the “harder” native app approach instead of going the simpler route of creating yet another webapp wrapper.
Your battery life will appreciate it as well
I love the app itself and appreciate everything everyone is doing for it! I wish I knew how to code! Maybe it’s time to learn….
Why not? I do not work in tech, but knowing python and the Linux command line has helped me immeasurably with my work. And now with chatgpt it can do most of the word for me and I just tweak the code it gives me to fit my needs.
Where can we donate? Apologies if this answer is clear somewhere.

I can’t do monthly as I got laid off, but I have a bit of money right now I can donate. Is there a way to give a single lump sum?
In the first link you can just do a tip of whatever amount. It’s this one:
I just did. Even has Apple pay etc which made it one click.
Done. Cheers.
Agreed, if I knew how to code anything in more than Python I would be offering to help you out!
The way I can best help out is by being active on the platform. Sadly my coding skills are basically just super small scrips to automate a task.
Really like the app, can it be used with something like kbin.social?

This is such a bummer. Could devs from kbin address this? It’s not great.
That’s a shame! Hopeful we’ll see something in the future. Regardless, thank you for the app
+1 from me; amazing app already and I can’t wait for it to mature.
Thank you @worfamerryman@beehaw.org !
I’m an Android user but I used Apollo for a significant amount of years, I hope Apollo (and Sync for Reddit plus many other Reddit clients for Android and iOS) can make a comeback… Wether it is for Reddit or this site.
I’ve used infinity for Reddit, but I prefer iOS so I really just used Apollo.
Apollo was a great app and it would be great to see the devs next project.
But, I am excited to see what the devs of mlem can do. So far things are off to a good start.
I typically use it for casual browsing, but due to some features that are still being implemented, I’m on the mobile browser for the most part.
Seconded! The ux in mlem is great already, and it’s basically feature complete for my needs so far! Great work, team!
Do message replies work for you? I have to use the web app to see messages.
This app has been amazing already! So glad I stumbled upon it.
+1, just installed the beta; though rough around the edges, I like the potential and the platform native feel, very Apollo-y, which is a huge compliment!!
