And I blame the community for that. No one said “Marlon, what the fuck is a ‘terlet’, and did you pay attention when we were in school together?” You can pronounce the letters how your neighbourhood, region, cult or clique dictates; just write them correctly. #butEnglishEvolvesBecausePopularKids people can fuck themselves.
