Ramchandra Khadka stood in front of a temple in the middle of Kathmandu, Nepal, praying for his fellow countrymen who are fighting for Russia in Moscow’s war against Ukraine.
I have a real hard time feeling sorry for that woman in the article, who supposedly has lost her husband. He willingly signed up to go kill other peoples’ husbands, wives, sons, and daughters. Dispicable
Hey, I’ll be blunt: I’ve got no sympathy for anyone who would work and kill for a genocidal tyrant, regardless of where they’re from or what their background is.
What if they are so poor that they have no choice?
Many of them died on the front lines, trying to kill people who are defending their country.
It sounds like a shit deal. I understand that people live in severe poverty, and can die wirhout an income - but this really feels like you are giving up your soul for an eventual payday that is never coming.
Russia is probably banking on the fact that, if they don’t make it, they don’t have to pay you or your family. Game theory wise, this means that it’s in Russia’s interest that the foreign people don’t ever see their home countries again.
Dang, it’s almost like volunteering to help a global aggressor commit evil acts is maybe not a great idea. 🤔
I know right? It’s like signing up for the empire and being surprised you hubby isn’t coming back because a jedi cut him in half.
