After much work, I have migrated Mlem to the REST API. Goodbye, deprecated WebSockets! Mlem is now ready for the future.

    That’s great! When can we expect to see the update in the app? Or is it already live?

    I use Jerboa on my Android phone but I was testing it out on my iPad last night. Any chance of an ipad specific layout in the works?

      Right now, I’m working on some error handling so the app doesn’t crash as much (I made pretty much every issue crash the app for debugging reasons, but now it’s time to implement proper error handling). So after that’s implemented, I’ll release the update.

      Support for Mac and iPad is planned, but it’s still far in the future. However, it’s definitely something I’ll explore in time. There’s an issue about it on GitHub, which you can check out here: https://github.com/users/buresdv/projects/4?pane=issue&itemId=29967866

        Thanks so much for the info! I can’t wait to watch the app get better and better. Glad to hear that my frequent crashing was by design at least lol. I’ll look forward to the update.
