    In this context crush is actually the correct term, as VW wants the vehicles destroyed, the cars dealer legally imported. As the storage of the cars costs money, they also want to bleed the cars dealer dry by waiting it out.

    A lot of people here in Germany don’t buy eCars simply because of the high prices. Everyone I know, who’s interested in an ecar, knows how much cheaper they are in China compared to here. They are all waiting for the prices to half.

    VW should’ve been ramping up EV manufacturing capacity 10 years ago, then they wouldn’t have this problem…

      I mean, all car manufacturers should have looked into EV and similar things decades ago. They just didn’t because it wasn’t profitable, and waited until there was an actual market threat to do anything. China is that market threat.
