Greetings to everyone in the fediverse! I am a veterean Reddit user turned refugee that was recently referenced here to Lemmy. I noticed that there is no stonk community that I could find, so I decided to create one. I hope this place can get bustling. :)
But…to be frank, I totally suck at anything artistic. When creating this community, I just commandeered some stuff off of Google until we can do better. I know it looks horrendous! I’m sorry! If any members want to have a go at replacing them, let me know.
Also, until we get more people in this community, I will be periodically posting interesting and relevant posts by other users from Reddit, with full credit to them to get this place a bit more populated with posts so it won’t be so lonely here.

There is a superstonk community, that seems a bit active and a barren gme community. I really do not get, why the reddit subs did not participate in the blackout and move to lemmy.
I also don’t understand it. I am a january '21 ape, came to reddit through the “sneeze”, migrated from WSB to GME to Superstonk, Jungle, DRS subs and as soon as i learned about the Fediverse, i made an account and joined. That was on June 12th. Perhaps i am not “Zen” enough? And all the other apes are Zen and don’t care about getting information anymore, after 2 1/2 years? I can’t believe that. Sure, some apes are tired and just want MOASS to happen, and have no energy for another migration. But many are still burning for changing the system. Personally i think, “lemmy” and a possible migration out of reddit (or building of a reserve-homeplace) is actively suppressed in the subs. Search for “lemmy” on the SS sub, what do you find?..
