I just joined Lemmy / Beehaw coming from Reddit Is Fun after seeing 3rd party apps were shutting down due to the new API cost. I never posted on reddit, was just a lurker of r/nfl, but wanted to contribute this time around and say hi.
I’m a big NFL football fan and would love to see this movement take off. What’s your favorite sports? What’s going on in the leagues your following?
That’s how I feel about r/nfl. I don’t watch many basketball games but gosh r/nba certainly has its hilarious moments.
The Celtics being down 3 games, to bring it back to 3-3 just to get blown out in game 7 is hilarious to me as someone with New England roots that doesn’t follow the team that closely.
