The Swedish gaming company Embracer Group AB is canceling a video game in the beloved Deus Ex series after two years of development and will lay off a number of employees as part of an ongoing initiative to cut costs, according to people familiar with the moves.

    Can’t be making games when Daddy Conglomerate needs to push up that YoY up, up, up!

    That people were celebrating embracer buying up all these studios still baffles me. It was never going to end well for the studios.

      I just wasn’t aware of who embracer was and was hopeful that something would be done with it since clearly Squenix never was going to since they were selling it in the first place.
