I was thinking of creating something similar to “findAReddit”. There doesn’t seem to be a big one around. It could become a directory that other instances frequent. Are we willing to handle something like that?

It’s definitely nice to have a few communities. Just make sure:
- Add the community to community boost.
- Search the community from other big instances (like lemmy.world, lemmy.ml) to make it available for their users.
- Post it to communities like !newcommunities@lemmy.world.
As you can see, the problem is reachability and first two items fixing that.
