I saw my first (live) badger only 2 years ago, I thought it was a weird looking cat at first. When it had finished eating the bird nuts it trundled across the patio then bounced across the grass, like a proper boing, boing, boing…not what I was expecting at all
I have heard them crashing through the undergrowth at night, but no close encounters (without a sheet of glass between us)
