Looks like the frame is bent and welded sheet metal cut with a Dremel. The guide rods inside seem like cut down 3/8 inch rods. The barrel I’m guessing was either a pipe or hollowed out bolt based on the threading. Springs and that sort of thing can be found at most hardware stores.
