My issue with tweets like this is that while the vast majority thinks “that’s fucked up” then go about their lives, some will think “philipines you say?”
That’s 10% of my concern. The prostitution is messed up, but it’s present in a lot of other countries and even developed ones. Surely he’s seen some parts of the Philippines that makes it not completely fucked up.
But I don’t hold any ill will towards him if that’s his takeaway.
