I feel like the compact mode in general could really use some refining. It just looks kinda loose in a way. I usually prefer compact modes but for now I’m really loving the non compact mode.
And right after I post this the app gets an update with refinements to compact mode! How about that. I’ve switched having to compact mode now with thumbnails on the right and removed the vote buttons. Lookin slick!

I agree. I also would like the swipe gestures to actually turn off completely. The option is there but does nothing?
