Hello.

My ram was detected automatically.

My Motherboard was not and i get this error every time. The motherboard rgb is on even when PC is shut off. I assume because of this error?

I would like assistance with my motherboard and what values do i need to put into those fields. Or where do i find those values myselfe…

Thank you for any help.

I have This model. Yes im talking about the lights that are built into the motherboard.

So i just go +1,+2,+3,… untill i get the correct sequence? Is there a chance of something going wrong for mobo or the rgb?

No, entering too many LEDs will not break anything. Addressable LEDs basically consume one LED worth of data and pass the rest on to the next LED(s) in the chain, so the data gets shorter and shorter as it goes down the chain. It won’t hurt it if there is extra data at the end, it will just get ignored. You are free to experiment with zone size.

Sory for late reply, waited till next day to do all the testing. So here it is:

After setting zones by going +1,+2,+3,…and so on up till 50 on both, there were no changes to mobo rbg. In the end a just cranked the slider to 120 (max) still nothing.

When PC goes to Sleep/Hibernate/Off the mobo rgb goes back to rainbow effect (default, i assume?)

I did however achieve that i can turn rgb off (not change color) while the pc is on.

So OpenRgb can turn off the mobo rgb, i just dont know under what circumstances. But it turns it back on when pc is shut down?
