I think the main consequence isn’t going to be a coup, it’s going to be a critical weakness at the front for Ukraine to take advantage of. The Wagner fighters are leaving to go do this march on Moscow, and the Russian military now has its hands full with the Wagner rebellion. So Ukraine’s counteroffensive couldn’t come at a better time.
I think Putin isn’t going anywhere, but Ukraine might be about to regain a lot of territory and set Russia significantly, perhaps permanently, back in their special military operation.
