Battery Saver Mode - S23 Ultra
I recently unexpectedly got stuck without my charger for 3 days.
When I realised that would be the case towards the end of day 1, I put the phone into battery saver mode. It lasted me those 3 days until I got to my charger again.
But here’s the thing, I didn’t notice any practical difference in how the phone ran. It was still super fast/smooth. The only noticeable thing was it connected to 4G instead of 5G. But around here I’m averaging 200/20 up/down in 4G speeds, so I can’t notice any real difference using the phone.
So two weeks later, I still haven’t switched battery saver off! I only need to charge every 2 to 3 days and it never gets below about 25%.
Has anyone else used this? Do you actually notice any difference in usability?
If it doesn’t interfere with your apps (like stopping background jobs and things like that) my guess is you’re fine to keep it on at all times if you like.
