Is it any shock considering they’re using the re-opening of KotakuInAction as their reference point as to why it’s a “rule” that they can re-open privatized subreddits or closed subreddits?
He literally platformed a bunch of raging misogynists, after the top mod finally had a change of heart and realized how much damage he was doing. The ad impressions were too important to him.
I mean, reddit’s rules about doxxing go back to ViolentAcres and how they basically banned discussing the Anderson Cooper expose on the site. So the doxxing rules basically exist because one of their worst and most disgusting users was outed for being the creepy fucking freak he was.
