    He had no way of knowing that nin was going to be so popular and so important when he left.

    Did he ever hear the songs he was playing? Everyone everywhere knew they were hearing something special the first time they heard NiN.

      Sure but there are a lot of people who make innovative music and they don’t get popular. I’m a big fan of the legendary pink dots. I think they’re incredibly innovative but they’ve never been popular.
