Only tangentially related: but is there any way to get Lemmy to automatically drop tracking info from posted links? Everything past the question mark is just tracking data. Or perhaps educating users on tracking info and having them remove them from links before posting? I don’t know. If part of the whole reason we’re here is we’re sick of what reddit is doing with ads and targeting, it seems like we should do some legwork on not letting it happen here by preventing links with tracking info.
