Burnaby has done an excellent job of making homes and amenities available close to rapid transit.
But it is also the most extreme example of having no middle density. We either get massive towers or single family homes.
It’s great that they are planning on adding laneway homes but it’s a very small effort and very behind when the city needed it. The city should be allowing co-ops and multi-unit homes up to 6 stories throughout the entire city.
