Hunted and alone, a boy finds himself drawn into the center of a dark project. INSIDE is a dark, narrative-driven platformer combining intense action with challenging puzzles. It has been critically acclaimed for its moody art style, ambient soundtrack and unsettling atmosphere.
I know these games have gotten a ton of critical acclaim, so it’s probably just me, but I played Limbo and I really don’t get what all the fuss was about. It seemed like a pretty standard puzzle platformer with a not very impressive black and white art style. It’s there something I’m missing, or is Inside substantially better than the first game?
If you didn’t like Limbo, you probably won’t like Inside. They have average platformer mechanic but it’s more the atmosphere and the ambiguous story which makes it quite unique.
