    I’m torn between him being kind of racist and jingoistic, so it was rather funny to see him get fined and that you should be allowed to protest in the mall

      It sounds like he wasn’t actually in the mall anyway. He was standing out the front of the Chinese consulate, which has its entrance on Adelaide St near the Albert St entrance to the mall.

      As for him being racist, he’s a know-it-all arsehole, but I don’t think he’s racist. He’s not anti-Chinese people. He’s anti-CCP. He first got his fame specifically supporting Hong Kong people against the CCP.

        Yeah the mall stuff is fucked. I call him kind of racist for the whole teaming up with Bob Katter thing and if I recall at UQ dressing up in a Hazmat suit outside the Confucius institute. He’s not racist in the same way as Pauline Hanson, but in his own unique way. Also the dude just comes across as a self serving grifter tbh.
