I have created this community because I have a huge nostalgia and passion for the “old internet”. Basically, before it all got boiled down to like 5 main sites.

I asked on Lemmy for people to list websites they use or links to old style websites, and had plenty of replies to my post. Since then I have had a deep dive into loads of interesting, quirky websites, free from the meddling of corporations, ads, and tracking.

There is so much out there that you’d struggle to find on search engines. I’d like this community to be somewhere we can post interesting websites, old style websites, personal websites, lists of websites, etc.
