I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but haven’t they long disproven the efficacy of subliminal messaging? It’s good fiction but nothing else.
I have no expertise here either, but I’d imagine, it depends a lot on what the message is. I doubt, anyone will be swayed by “OBEY”. And you obviously can’t write a whole essay into there either.
But companies injecting their branding could probably work, since we’re constantly bombarded with superliminal conditioning that a certain word/shape/color/jingle should make you think of chocolate or whatever.
I guess, you might not need the subliminal messaging, though, if you’ve got so much superliminal messaging…
