Turkey uses the TFSA (Turkish Free Syrian Army) against the US-backed SDF (Syrian Defense Forces, an amalgamation of local autonomous militias which resist joinign syria, mostly kurdish on the north, and mostly arab elsewhere).

You are asking seriously, right? Happy bread day, by the way

Now nothing is happening, because Syria is kind of in an economic crisis between covid and the war, and they dont want to push turkey too far without russian support.

Turkey hinted towards invading part of SDF-controlled syria, but they decided against it, maybe because both russia and NATO said “guys, stop it while the big boys fight”

An agreement with Turkey to abandon Idlib jihadis, then an agreement with Turkey to resettle syrians into Syria, then likely an agreement with Turkey to abandon northern syria.

Once turkey is out of syria and the rest of syria is unified, the AANES administration will try to reach a favorable solution with the syrian government.
