Just starting to play Fallout (Well Tales Of Two Wasteland mod to be precise), want to play more games that has post-apocalyptic setting.
It’s a plus if it DRM-Free (so like if it on GOG or itch.io) but Steam games will also do.

I’d highly recommend the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series. The original three games are getting older at this point, but there are loads of mods available to improve/change/modify gameplay, visuals and darn near everything else.
