i wouldnt mind that but can we also have a series where they are x00 years into the future, with new civilizations and beings to encounter, to boldly go where no (hu)man has gone before.
This is exactly how I felt as we finish up SNW. We still love SNW, but yeah they just keep making shows stick in the same timeline to focus on nostalgia.
They should make a show set in the 25th century instead of just retreading material from the old shows.
