@JoeyJoJoJuniour@cetan If you’re in Canada, House of Knives is the best place to buy anything new. At their physical stores you can go in and spend plenty of time checking out options, the staff are very helpful and have recommendations. I know many people who went in and had this exact experience.
Sidenote: it’s hard to ship knives from US sellers because the CBSA definitions of what’s prohibited is way more restrictive than actual Canadian law, insane I know. So HoK is kind of the source.
I use knifecenter and bladeHQ websites for their really good filtering options but I rarely buy from them anymore. It definitely helps narrow down the options when companies are releasing so many knives these days.
One I can really recommend if you can get it is the Civivi Chevalier. Button lock flipper with a good size blade and great steel for the price.
Cost lol I like sheepsfoot for the straight edge. I’ll take a look at knife center. I’m in Canada though so we will see
I can’t believe I forgot this as an option: The QSP Penguin! D2 steel, great action. Great value.
