Gamer’s Nexus did a video criticizing LTT’s methodologies and review process. Makes a lot of good points and I hope LTT takes it to heart and improve.

Edit: After the shitshow that was Linus’ response, and later their apology video, I was skeptical of their sincerity. Followed by Madison’s horrible experiences and treatment at LMG, and I am done with LMG for good.

I just saw it, that’s really disappointing. I’ve been watching Linus’ videos since he was still working for NCIX, back when Sandy Bridge was released, and while I have some disagreements with him on some topics, I found him to be generally trustworthy and honest, but his response to GN’s criticism made me realise he lacks the integrity I thought he had.

It is very sad that his company has gotten so massive and they have so many employees that they have to produce an enormous amount of videos every week to function, and if they want to make videos with better quality content, they would need to either make less videos or hire more people. With all the debts LMG took for the lab, he really can’t afford to slow down, so he needs to hire more people to help improve the quality of his video.

I unsubscribed for now, maybe if he makes an honest apology video and a change in their methods I will go back, since I generally enjoy their content from an entertainment standpoint, and like most of the hosts at LMG.

I thought it was bizarre too… I really didn’t know what to make of that one, but I haven’t looked into it very deeply because I don’t see myself buying a $250 backpack when my 25 year old backpack does everything I want.
