    Removal of an industry standard for a feature with inferior sound quality is not technology progressing imo. I’d be fine with them removing it if lossless Bluetooth became an industry standard, but that hasn’t happened.

    For example, the in flight entertainment has a 3.5mm jack, not a Bluetooth transmitter.

    I love Bluetooth and use it a lot, but it’s not ready to outright replace 3.5. They should supplement each other
