They were fascists because they supported and voted for Donald Trump.
They apparently immediately regretted that decision the day after election Day, and while I commend the ones who admitted their ignorance, they still openly supported a fascist. That makes you a fascist.

Sometimes it is mind blowing to enter the liberal headspace where the definition of fascism is based on how the subject arrived at the fascist conclusion, and how the test of fascism is how they outwardly express it.
