I don’t think Bethesda will do that, in fact the case for Fallout London was also during the hype for the TV show so made sense to release new stuff for F4.
The remake is also rumoured to be made using UE5(shit) probably to be a testing ground for a different engine so even with the competition they are offering something different in the end of the day.
