President-elect Donald Trump once again toyed with the idea on Tuesday of not just implementing large-scale tariffs on foreign imports, but using them to replace the income tax system outright.

    Ok, just the quickest ducking shows half of the federal govement’s revenue comes from income tax.

    So go for it, just a quick three month embargo by China or interruption in international trade for any other reason like maybe further spreading of the avian flu in California and you’ve got your government shrunk to nothing at all.
