Giving a dog a treat every time he rolls over, is enabling the dog to roll over more often. Giving a junky cash for “groceries” every time they’re in a pinch, is enabling their drug use.

Enabling as in justifying something that normally cannot be justified.
Enabling is more than justification. It’s behavior that fuels another behavior.
Giving a dog a treat every time he rolls over, is enabling the dog to roll over more often.
Giving a junky cash for “groceries” every time they’re in a pinch, is enabling their drug use.
That’s 100% what I mean. I didn’t have the right words for it though.
