    It’s probably the former. According to data, homicides within the last 5 year have more or less been similar numbers, but that’s just fatalities, and maybe violence without deaths has gone up.

      There’s also just general tension among drivers. With years of near zero consequences for traffic offenses, the number of dangerous scenarios and road rage seem to be on the rise. It’s not great out there.
