Union Berlin are finalizing the loan signing of U.S. national team midfielder Brenden Aaronson from Leeds United, sources involved in the deal tell The Athletic. Sources have been granted anonymity as they’re not authorised to discuss the move publicly.
Union Berlin finished fourth in the Bundesliga last season to qualify for the Champions League for the first time. Aaronson has been expected to leave Leeds this summer following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.

Hope he does okay. He was dire for us last season. He def needs a less physical league. He is not cut out for the Prem.
I think he would have struggled in the championship with us even more saying that. Best for us and him he left quickly.
