Edit: Thanks all! I’ve got a lil homelab setup going now with Pihole, Jellyfin, Paperless ngx, Yacht and YT-DL. Going to be looking into it more tomorrow, this is so much fun!
With no prior experience it’ll take you at least 30 minutes to securely setup your first remote service (even turn-key solutions). If that’s something an “average joe” would be willing to do, then yes.
