I was pretty suspicious of that as well, but I don’t think they’re good guys in the show. If I remember properly, the guy ordering MM around is only concerned about the exploding-head lady because she can easily kill anyone that goes against her, without anyone knowing it’s her.
Honestly it’s bad writing when her power is basically controlling blood, she could kill people by giving them an aneurism / heart attack and no ome would even suspect a thing
Theres a moment in the Gen V spin off wheres shes threatening someone in a parking garage, I thought “ah how dangerous, he’ll die of something subtle” and then his head burst like a watermelon under a tire.
