Is Raytheon paying you well to advocate “liberating” Iran?
We’ve seen how this plays out in Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya. When Israelis criticize gay rights in Palestine, they’re not trying to help gay people in Palestine, they’re carrying water for genocide.
I have my criticisms of the Iranian state, but they’re infinitely better than what the west will do if they get their way.
I am in America, I cannot support the Iranian people from here, I can only support my government further immiserating them. The same is true for you. If our governments get their way, Iran will look like Saudi Arabia. Equally reactionary and even more fundamentalist, but 100x more extractive; the few gains the Iranian people made since the overthrow of the Shah such as education and healthcare will be wiped out.
