Can’t find the word privacy anywhere on the NewPipe site. NewPipe seems very popular and has its own F-Droid repository for faster updates but supporting Invidious and Piped.video would have my personal vote. Just my two cents.
Piped is my go to on PC, I forgot about Invidious, so thanks for chipping in 👍🏼
On desktop there is also https://freetubeapp.io The Private YouTube Client with lots of features.
