I will too because it’s a garbage mouse for anybody who uses a computer for more than 30mins a day, but the position of the charging port has nothing to do with it in my opinion.

Because it has obvious room for it. The shape of the Magic Mouse doesn’t have any, and a hole at the front or back would look stupid.
Charging port under the mouse is a non issue too, the battery lasts for weeks and even if you need to charge it in a pinch, you can plug it in for less than a minute and you’ll be good for a few hours.
It is however extremely good at making people talk about it, and that’s why they’ve been keeping it this way for 10 years
I’ve had many hundreds of hours of Minecraft these past few years but… What’s layer 4?
I’m no lab scientist but when I switched from a hackintosh to an M1 Mac mini a few years ago, my total electricity consumption went down by around 15-20%. This can mean a lot on the long run if you’re tight on budget.
What’s great about Mac minis is that they’re extremely power efficient since they’re ARM machines, so if you live somewhere like in Europe where power is expensive, it can save you a lot of money. They’re usually completely silent too.
Depending on their needs, I’d suggest OP to get a used M1 Mac mini, they’re great value for money.
camera seems perfectly good, the utter carelessness is the actual problem
As far as I understand, lizards and dinosaurs are distinct types of reptiles the same way turtles and crocodilians are. Also dinosaurs (apart from birds which are technically dinosaurs) have been extinct since 65 million years ago, so even then this lizard is way too late in the game.
I was the same until like two months ago when I had to learn Nginx!
As far as I know only Apache uses .htaccess files, Nginx works a different way
It’s not gonna stop it from making an absolute shit ton of money, and that’s all that matters for the studios.
Even dog sized they’d probably weigh like 200Kg. Mammoths be thicc
Thank the French for this one
Yup, I totally agree. I’ve been in this situation a few times where I just asked a question because I wanted to know people’s opinion about something privacy or FOSS related, and got downvoted.
I have an IRL friend who went back to Reddit in large parts because of stuff like this. It’s pretty bad.
And I say all this as an open source developer
Welcome to Lemmy where having an opinion even slightly different from the open source/Linux fanboys grants you downvotes to oblivion, no questions asked 🙃
Haven’t seen the film yet but I was agreeing with them until the very last part.
There’s some great arguments against these Disney soft reboots that tell the same story as the original films, but throwing all the previous sequels under the same bus as Romulus seems nonsensical to me.
Thank you for reminding me that I am indeed old
I’m mainly talking about Drive and Pass. I don’t really remember as it’s been a while since I’ve tested them, but the situation doesn’t seem to have changed. Here’s a good thread for Drive. I remember Pass having problems with auto-fill which made it unusable for me.
I have Proton Unlimited but only use two of their services because of this, it’s pretty frustrating.
I love Proton’s mission just like all Lemmy users but I wouldn’t say you can trust them in terms of quality. Apart from Proton Mail and Proton VPN, most of their other products unfortunately have a deep lack of features.
