Did it differentiate itself enough from The Expanse? It’s on my to be read pile but I’m worried it’s just going to be a bad Xerox copy of their previous work.

You might like “Rendezvous With Rama” by Arthur C Clarke.
That photo is awesome.
You will have to scroll to get to the good parts, but it’s worth it. It involves funneling all your earnings to a limited partnership, and then the LP pays you. The IRS was going to fix the loophole until Steve Forbes and Rush Limbaugh got involved. 🤮
Bonus grossness: LPs require two stakeholders. To work around this, your second partner can be a corporation you have created. Because ya know, “corporations are people”.
Is this another one of those grifts where the taxpayers foot the bill for a brand new stadium?
Thinking of all the Albertsons they closed in my city in preparation for this merger.
Womp womp.
Currently reading “Artemis” by Andy Weir. I’m enjoying it a lot more than I did “Hail Mary” which I thought was awful.
“Forgetting” is a strange word choice.
The original 500e was a “compliance car”. It got horrible range and had slow charging. It’s main purpose was to meet California average emissions standards. Which is a shame because the rest of the car (other than range) really was great.
Not much of a game changer since the iPhone already does this. More of a convenience so they don’t have to carry their phone.
As you said, Biden replaced members of the board of governors. They are an odd number, and the majority were appointed by Biden.
There’s really no reason for DeJoy to still be around.
Netflix management were so stupid to lose him from The Witcher.
And yet Biden did nothing to get rid of this joker.
I see them every day on the road. I wish I would see more of them. Here’s hoping we continue to make progress over the next few years.
The experience between the two is certainly different enough that I hope I never have to go back to driving an ICE vehicle. I never struggle to climb a hill or merge from an on ramp in my EV. I don’t have to get regular oil changes or brake service. And I love plugging in at home rather than having to drop $30 or more at a gas station every week.
It will be interesting to see how well these hold up and what kind of service options become available.
Depends. I tried the fiat 500e and it would die halfway through the day if you added passengers and air conditioning. Great for a one person car, but if you’re hauling kids and spouses, you’re going to need a larger car with more range. Not necessarily an SUV — but something with at least a 200 mile battery.
Maybe. Depends on the vehicle and the tire.
What a bland and ugly building.
I hear Piggly Wiggly is still around.
