Yep. I’ve got Hispanic friends (I don’t live too far from Chicago) and a friend with a trans daughter who are all trying to move and figure out how to live. But then I log in here and get to hear about how the moral and righteous thing to do is sit on the couch and do jack shit until someone brings “a candidate worth voting for”. Those goddam towels are always just a little too far away.

Things that are weird:

1. Gender reveal parties
2. People who are needlesssly hostile about other people having gender reveal parties

If you want to have a party every time a gender / hair color / favorite tv show is speculated or changed or whatever, go have some fun with your friends. Im not the fun police.

I’m totally happy to self separate from people who make AI dislike a personality trait. This is bordering on deranged.

Sure, if you chat me up and generative AI is writing the messages you can get lost. If you are generating complex SQL queries through an API written in another language? Whatever, get after it.

The amount of people who see a photoshopped picture now and then be like “oh my God AI slop!” is getting ridiculous; take a breath and touch some grass.
