You are ready to acknowledge the genocides of your political opponents (us, Australia, Israel).
Just deny the genocides that are not convenient. “Just an unfortunate event”. “Must be the weather”.

So you just ask if the perpetrators agree with you politically, then it’s all good, it’s an accident, it was the other guy, it was actually good, the victims had it coming…
In my day we used bibtex, uphill, in the snow!

Too bad Russians contradict you… Keep denying genocide. What’s next, Palestine is just suffering from a storm? The Armenians just were tired after a walk? I’m curious, which other genocides do you deny?

They just went on vacation and took their tanks.
And holodomor, katyń, and others where just disagreements.
At least “back in my day” there was no alternative if you wanted to write a paper (or a thesis).

What if the employees are shareholders? What if the shareholders paid for “the means of production”? What if the owner worked 80h a week for 10 years to start the company?
If you are not happy with the share of profits that you get, demand more. Unionize. Strike. Quit. Vote for politicians that support workers. Or start your own company. It’s a free country (wild concept, huh?).

Convicting politicians or their family members, what a concept, huh? Good on Spain, Brazil, South Korea and the rest.
Not you, you know who you are.
How much would you need?
What’s the alternative? Force journalists to reveal their sources? I’m sure that won’t backfire…

Yeah, ask Ukraine. Or Estonia. Or Latvia. Or Belarus. Or Lithuania. Or Poland. Or Czechia. Or Hungary. But what’s a few genocides and a dozen colonies, right?

I’d love to see a company of thousands of people without bosses…
It’s the basis of the EU…

Awesome, it is exquisite. I happily trade 2-3 hours everyday with my kids for some concept of “boot” of strangers on the internet.
If you are unhappy with your boss I’d say it’s a skill issue.
My previous car was a small 6 cylinder BMW and used about 10L/100km (mostly short city trips, about 8L highway).
That’s 23mpg in the city, 30 hwy, at 10.6USD per gallon (2.5 eur/L)
Now it’s about 18kWh/100km so 3.5 miles per kWh at 0.09 cents in summer and 30 cents in winter (solar panels).

So we consider CEOs and owners not bosses?
Just to clarify: this was a startup and all 3 were the only co-owners, +5 employees .
Yeah, if companies are going to cheat and lie, they are going to cheat and lie, a piece of paper is not going to stop them. Paper or digital, no difference, the problem is corruption not digitalization.
Their own monthly documents be damned.
I’m glad that we agree.
How is the lemmy activity looking?
